What is Title I?
Title I is a federally funded program that provides financial assistance to schools with high numbers or high percentages of students from low-income families. The goal of Title I is to ensure that all children meet challenging academic standards, regardless of their background or economic status.
How Does It Help Our School?
At Butler Creek, Title I funding supports a range of services designed to improve student achievement and engagement. These may include:
Additional reading and math support
Smaller class sizes or instructional groups
Professional development for teachers
Extra instructional materials and technology
Family engagement events and resources
Family Involvement
We believe that families play a key role in student success. Our Title I program encourages strong partnerships between school and home through events, workshops, and regular communication. Each year, we also collaborate with families to develop our School-Parent Compact and Family Engagement Policy.
Our Commitment
We are committed to using Title I resources to provide equitable learning opportunities and ensure all students grow academically and socially in a safe, supportive environment.
