Greetings Butler Creek!
First of all, I want to commend and thank all of you for your hard work with the Jogathon this year. It was an exciting and thrilling year for the Jogathon competition. At first it looked like Ms. Fish might have defended her title from last year, but students from Mrs.Cook’s class and Mrs. Price’s class kept raking in the donations helping them run out in front of the competition. Ultimately Mrs. best casino canada Cook won by the small margin of $11 just barely beating out Mrs. Price. All of this competition led to a record breaking year for fundraising! We have far exceeded our goal of $7,000.00 this year. As of our board meeting last week, Butler Creek has raised $9,049.10!!! And there is still more money coming in! Donations of any kind are always welcome.
Now, we’re turning our attention to our annual Santa’s Breakfast and Holiday Bazaar, which will be here before we know it. This year, we are moving the date to a Friday evening, The event is scheduled for Friday, December 2nd, from 6:00-9:00pm. We will again have musical performances, with Mr. Lasfetto prepping our third grade students to sing, and we will be joined by the Middle C’s and the C-Notes (our middle school and high school choirs). It was great to have these additional performances last year, and we’re excited for their return. We are still serving a breakfast meal (breakfast for dinner is certainly a great meal) and we’ll be encouraging the kids to come in their PJ’s. We’ll send out fliers about this event very soon via PeachJar.
Wreaths and Poinsettia vouchers are also on sale now. We’ve got our online store up and running, and we’re adding all fundraisers to the store. You can “shop now” via the link on our Facebook page.
